The Baby Is A Senior

I can't believe it! My baby girl started her senior year of college this week.
I still vividly remember her first day of kindergarten, even what she had on! A couple of good friends of mine from The Gladney Center used to call her the "40 year old midget", because she was such a little adult. She knew what kind of formula the babies were on and when they last ate. Someone at Gladney would ask me detail about a baby and she would answer for me.

I remember on the first day of kindergarten, she did not want me to walk her to her class. She was "Miss Independent". Seriously, she would let me walk her to class today. She is much needier than she was back then.

I am so proud of her and all my kids. I don't have one college hour and in May, all four of mine will have their degrees. I am also excited about May because I will be rich!!!!! We have had at least one kid and most of the time two in college since 1998.

Oh wait, I am rich and have been for many years, because God has blessed me with a great husband, children, and grandchildren. All the money in the world can't buy that.

Thank you Lolly!! That was very sweet!! :) I can't FREAKING WAIT to get home and see you!!

You're right..you could walk me to class anytime you want, cause that means you'd actually have to come to Abilene! :)

Congrats on raising such amazing kids. Seems weird to think your youngest is graduating from college. That really makes me feel even older. Of course, my oldest just started 2nd grade and that's freaking me out. We were talking about you and your sweet husband last night to some friends. You guys still come up in conversation because of the incredible impact you had on our lives during that period of time. May God continue to bless you and your family!
